Built for India
An AI API that bills like an Indian product.
UPI, cards and netbanking via Razorpay. Prices in rupees, GST invoices on your billing page, DPDP-grade privacy - on OpenAI-compatible endpoints from ₹199/month.
Pay with UPI, in rupees
No international card, no forex markup, no crypto. Subscriptions and one-time top-ups process through Razorpay; every credit stays in your balance until spent.
GST invoices included
Invoices on your billing page for company reimbursement and input credit. Card and bank details never touch our servers.
DPDP posture, in writing
Named data fiduciary (VelsTech), grievance officer with 30-day redressal, and a published data-flow diagram showing exactly what reaches each provider.
Same API as everywhere
OpenAI-compatible /api/v1, Anthropic-compatible /messages, and MCP - so the India billing doesn't cost you tool compatibility.
What ₹199 gets you
The entry plan adds 20,000 credits every month at 100 credits ≈ ₹1 - spendable across chat, documents, research, images, the API and MCP alike. Credits never expire, so light months aren't wasted. Full slabs on the pricing page.
Quickstart - same shape as any OpenAI client
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(base_url="https://velatl.ai/api/v1", api_key="velatl_...")
r = client.chat.completions.create(
model="fast",
messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Namaste"}],
)
print(r.choices[0].message.content)Two honest notes
- Inference runs abroad. Hosting is in ap-south/ap-southeast, but AI providers process prompts in the US under DPDP-compliant contracts - see the data-flow diagram. If you need fully domestic inference, we're not that yet.
- Support is email-first. Write to support@velatl.ai - billing help, privacy requests and grievance redressal all land there, answered within 30 days.
